What We Need From You To Get Started

Step 1
Step 2

Provide Client Information

Before your child starts ABA services, we need pertinent client information — your child’s autism diagnosis paperwork, contact and insurance numbers, as well as other important details about your child,

  • Get an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnosis from a Licensed Psychologist, Pediatric Neurologist, or Pediatrician.

  • If you do not already have an ASD diagnosis, call our office at 833-225-9393 to get diagnostic support. We do have an ADOS Administrator who can test your child. Should you go this route, the ADOS Administrator will deliver the results to your child’s doctor, who will make the final determination.

Contact the Office for a Clinic Tour or Phone Consultation

Many families like to tour one of our center locations to understand our ABA style better. During the tour, you can see the environment your child will learn in and meet our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, and administrative staff.

  • Call 833-225-9393 for a Phone Consultation or to Schedule a Clinic Tour

  • Tour one of our Clinic Locations

  • Ask all your questions about ABA therapy and ABA Connect. We are happy to answer them!

Step 3

Verify Insurance and Diagnosis

ABA Connect accepts all major insurance plans. If you don’t see your insurance provider listed below, please contact us at 833-225-9393 to discuss options for requesting a single-case agreement.

Once we receive the intake information we need from you—including having your child’s autism diagnosis on file—we will contact your insurance company to determine eligibility and verify benefits.

We will also get insurance authorization to conduct an assessment. The assessment we do differs from your child’s testing for an ASD diagnosis.

We are in network with the following insurance plans

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Friday Health Plan
  • Idealcare/Sendero
  • Optum
  • Scott and White
  • United Health
  • Anthem (Blue Cross)
  • Cigna
  • Goldenrule
  • Magellan
  • OSCAR
  • Tricare
  • Healthcare Highways
  • Beacon
  • Community Health Choice
  • Humana
  • Meritain
  • Premera (Blue Cross)
  • UMH
  • ChampVA
Step 4
Step 5

Assess Milestones

During the Milestone Assessment, we conduct a parent interview and a developmental test on your child. This assessment allows us to determine the best type of services for your child and the number of hours we recommend per week of therapy.

Here are some of the milestone assessments we use to determine the best fit for ABA services:

Develop a Personalized ABA Therapy Plan and Start Therapy!

Once the evaluations are complete, your child’s BCBA will create a personalized treatment plan for your child.

Our programs at ABA Connect are individualized and tailored to the immediate needs of your child and family. The parent interview and assessment results help guide your child’s behavioral program. We will go over the program with you.

Once we’ve gotten your input on the programming, we will assign therapists with the right skill set to your child’s needs. We are intentional about creating the right fit between clients and therapists. We want to ensure the right team is ready to work with your child.

Once everything is in place, we will start ABA services!
