Insurance companies will often negotiate individual contracts to provide reimbursement for applied behavior analysis (ABA) services by out-of-network providers. We can help you determine what your insurance benefits and payment options are.
Please note that ABA services are typically only covered by insurance for children who have a formal evaluation for and/or diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The evaluation and diagnosis can be by a physician (e.g., pediatrician, pediatric psychiatrist, or neurologist) or a licensed psychologist. The physician or psychologist must recommend that ABA therapy is medically necessary for your child. This diagnosis must be on file with our practice in order to submit your claim to the insurance company.
