Our Programs
Early Intervention Program
The earlier that intervention can begin, the more progress can be achieved. Research shows that an intensive early ABA program can increase language acquisition for children who have autism.
Autism Preschool
Our preschool program for children with autism (PPCA) gives children who have autism the opportunity to have a nurturing environment with one-to-one support by registered therapists.
Peer Social Skills
Learning social skills is a critical area of growth for children. At our centers, children have an opportunity to learn the skills to engage with peers in conversation and play. These pre-requisite skills are necessary for future academic success.
Home Services
We offer home services for children in order to teach adaptive living skills in the environment that they will be using those skills.

Our South Austin ABA Therapy Clinics
Welcome!
Our two South Austin clinic spaces are ready to welcome learners for part-day and full day autism therapy services!
Exceptional Staff
Our therapists participate in a rigorous training, including studying for and obtaining their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials.
Our Therapy Space
Our South Austin ABA therapy clinics have rooms for direct instruction, group learning, and communal activities such as peer play and circle time.
Sensory Time
We are fortunate to have heritage oak trees in our backyard giving cool shade for outdoor play. Our indoor motor lab gives little learners time to use gross motor skills and practice language skills in a natural environment.

Kirsten Brooks, Med, BCBA
Owner, Director of Clinical Operations
In 2013 Kirsten officially launched ABA Connect to help close the provider gap in Austin, TX. Over the next several years ABA Connect would grow to support children all over Austin and the surrounding areas. Since opening ABA Connect, Kirsten has gone on to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and currently acts as the Director of Clinical Operations. Today ABA Connect is one of Austin’s largest family owned and operated ABA providers.
Tim Plachta
Owner, Director of Business Operations
Tim joined ABA Connect in 2018 and currently acts as the Director of Business Operations. With a background in Business Management, Finance, and Economics, his dedication to working in the special needs community started as a middle school special education math teacher in 2007, but solidified when his second daughter was born with Down syndrome in 2010. Tim is now dedicated to ensuring that ABA Connect continues to be a premier provider of ABA services and a place he’d be proud to take his own children to.
