Meet Your BCBA Team!

Ashley Flanders, BCBA

Ashley Flanders, BCBA - Clinical Director

Hi there! I’m Ashley Flanders, a BCBA and Clinical Director of the South Austin clinic. I’m originally from Georgia, but after learning more about ABA, we moved to Texas so I could pursue a M.Ed in Special Education at University of Texas. I’ve worked with both adults and children, and in many different settings. I have a passion for working with learners with limited communication, as well as those focusing on daily living skills. When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy gardening, playing video games, reading, and spending time with my husband and 2 cats.

I firmly believe that our job is to provide learners with the tools to carve their own path with, and the support they need to help them discover who they want to be. Our team creates opportunities for learning with the use of learner led therapy and their natural interests.  A learners’ strengths are found in what makes them unique, and we foster an environment that embraces those differences while teaching them essential skills. I’m very thankful for all the insight our learners have given me, and know they will continue to touch lives.

“When I look at you, and you look at me, I wonder what wonderful things you will be."

Gabe Gafner, BCBA - Assistant Clinical Director, South Austin

Hi! My name is Gabe Gafner and I’m the Assistant Clinical Director at ABA Connect South. My love of working with neuro-diverse kiddos started back in 2015 at an autism clinic in Brisbane, Australia while traveling the world! I’ve since earned my Masters from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 and BCBA certification in 2019.

Outside of ABA Connect I love to play soccer, camp, swim, rock climb or pretty much anything outdoors.

I look forward to having the privilege of collaborating with you and your family!

Taylor Russell BCBA

Taylor Russel, BCBA - Clinic Supervisor and OBM Specialist, Oak Hill Academy

Hi, I'm Taylor, I've been in the mental health field since working in state-funded group homes in 2014 while I was completing undergrad. I've worked in ABA since 2016 and have had the unique privilege of working with both clients and clinicians from an eclectic array of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. My passions in the field include social skills, relational-frame theory, OBM and ACT.

With a whole family approach to therapy my staff and I are here to help you work on what's important to you. Our goal is for you and your loved ones get to get the most out of life, on your terms. Practicing trauma-informed ABA is my upmost priority and I've worked hard to make our Oak Hill "Opossum" Academy a progressive, comfortable space where my clients and staff feel safe to express themselves however they see fit.

Anna Reinhart, BCBA at ABA Connect South Clinic

Hello! My name is Anna Reinhart, and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at ABA Connect South Clinic. I was born and raised in Texas, and currently live in the Austin area with my husband and two cats. I received my masters in Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in May of 2021 and became a BCBA in June of 2021.

I have always enjoyed working with children, and especially found a passion for working with neuro-diverse children. I first developed an interest in the field of ABA while applying for internship locations that worked with children using an individualized, and play-based approach during my last semester of undergrad. I found ABA Connect and have been here ever since!

When I am not at ABA Connect I enjoy cooking, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
